Who Are We?

Adina’s Touch was founded by Adina Mardenborough in 1998. Adina is a graduate of the prestigious Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy and Health Sciences. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Simmons College (now Simmons University). Adina is a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She is also certified in several modalities of massage therapy, nutrition and life coaching. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is an AMTA volunteer mentor.

Adina’s Touch contracts the best massage therapists, fitness instructors, dieticians, nutritionists and coaches to create a team of well-rounded wellness experts. All contractors are licensed or certified in their respective fields.

Our History

In 1998 Adina's Touch opened it's doors from the private, suburban home of CEO, Adina Mardenborough, providing a quiet tranquil retreat for one or several, offering massage therapy, facials, body treatments and fitness classes. After 12 years our client base had completely shifted away from spa clients to medical and sports clients. We closed our Mount Vernon, NY location. We opened two small studios strictly offering medical massage therapy in Rye, NY and Brooklyn, NY, as well as still servicing our clients at their homes and offices within the Tri-state Metro Area. In 2015, we closed the Rye, NY office, noting that most of our Westchester clientele had grown accustomed to receiving treatments in the comfort of their homes and were not utilizing our office space very often. We closed our Brooklyn studio as of June 2018.

Our Present

As Adina’s Touch continues to develop more deeply into a mind and body wellness practice, much of our work is happening off site and virtually. We are offering more group self-care classes and Mental Health First Aid trainings virtually and at our clients’ organization sites. We work with a network of licensed and insured therapists nationwide to provide chair massage for single events or on-going programs. For our local, private sessions, our primary focus is to work with clients who are looking for relief from chronic and acute pain as well as those looking to use massage therapy, as a way to maintain physical, mental and spiritual balance in their lives.

We look forward to continuing to serve you in the best possible way, creating wellness, healing and relaxation spaces wherever you need. You can always trust our team is made up of licensed/certified and insured therapists, wellness coaches and trainers.
